Gray to attend Division Banquet and Meetings, Jan. 9 & 10

NHRA vice president of technical operations Glen Gray will be attending the annual North Central Division Land of the Winners Awards Banquet and Track Operator Conference, January 9 & 10, 2009 at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites.  Gray will address the member track

technical and safety seminar conducted annually by Division Tech Director Ritch Bowers, as well as, setting in on track operator meetings and making award presentations during the weekend.

 

Gray, who has roots here in the North Central Division and was a graduate of Indiana State
University, joined NHRA this past August after being with Delphi Corp. and its electronics and safety division.  As motorsports engineering manager he lead a Delphi team of software, mechanical and electrical engineers in the development of complex electronics products used in motorsports worldwide.  In addition, he supported motorsports safety initiatives in several race series through the use of electronics and crash sled testing.

 

Tickets for annual Land of the Winners Awards Banquet must be purchased in advance and are available from the division office.
