North Central Division JDRL National Shootout

​

JDRL National Shootout Racers in the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League will be featured during 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series events. The seven National Shootouts, one in each geographic division, will include eight-car Jr. Dragster fields, and the final round from each shootout will take place on Sunday and be included in the event's national broadcast on FOX and FOX Sports 1.
 

The 2026 event for the NHRA North Central Division will be:
 

June 25-28: Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals

Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park

 

How to qualify for the National Shootout events:


On January 10th, during the 2026 North Central Division Member Track Meeting, we conducted a random drawing to select the 8 Member Tracks eligible to send one participant to the Summit JDRL National Shootout at Summit Motorsports Park. The remaining Member Tracks that are not selected then become alternates based on the final order drawn.

This posting is to allow time for each of the tracks selected to establish their representative for the Summit JDRL National Shootout held at the National Event.

5. Beech Bend Raceway Park

6. Wabash Valley Dragway

7. Wagler Motorsports Park

Hailey Antonioni Wins the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League National Shootout!

​

The spotlight was on World Wide Technology Raceway as eight standout Jr. Drag Racing League drivers from NHRA’s North Central Division competed in the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League National Shootout Finals!

After a tough weekend of competition, Hailey Antonioni from Byron Dragway clinched the championship title in a thrilling Final Round against Sara Stewart of World Wide Technology Raceway.

​

The Final Round aired nationally on FOX and FS1 as part of the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, giving these young racers a well-deserved moment in the national spotlight.

​

We would also like to congratulate all of the North Central Division Shootout finalists for being part this event at the 14th Annual NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals:
