One of the most prestigious and anticipated events in sportsman drag racing, the JEGS Allstars, is gearing up for its return to the historic Texas Motorplex, taking place October 13–18, 2026, during the NHRA FallNationals and the Motorplex’s renowned Stampede of Speed.

The JEGS Allstars remains a celebrated race‑within‑a‑race for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, bringing together the best racers from 10 categories across all seven NHRA geographic divisions. Competitors earn their way into the field by accumulating points at NHRA divisional events throughout the year, making qualifications itself a career-defining achievement.

A Rich Tradition and a Major Prize Purse

The 2026 running continues the long-standing partnership between NHRA and JEGS and maintains the event’s tradition of significant financial rewards.

The $124,000 purse includes:

  • $20,000 split among the winning team

  • $7,000 to each champion in Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car

  • $6,000 each to the winners in Competition Eliminator and Super Stock

  • $5,000 each to the Top Sportsman and Top Dragster winners

  • $4,500 each to champions in Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street

  • $2,000 to every class runner‑up

  • Plus, a $25,000 travel fund supporting competitors from across the country.

The Allstars is widely considered a legacy‑making event one that sportsman racers strive their entire careers to qualify for and win. Drivers from all 50 states and several international regions converge on the Texas Motorplex to represent their divisions and chase individual and team titles.
