Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series SummerNationals Divisional: Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park August 7th - 9th, 2026

The North Central Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series returns to the iconic Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the 2026 SummerNationals. This is the final points-earning opportunity for racers vying for a coveted spot on the 2026 JEGS Allstars team, which will represent Division 3 at the JEGS Allstars competition during the Stampede of Speed and the 41st Annual Texas NHRA FallNationals at Texas Motorplex this October.


VP Racing Fuels Top Sportsman and Top Dragster, Comp Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, and Jr Street (Saturday Only) will be competing for more of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Wally's.


In addition to Lucas Oil Series Classes, the event will showcase exciting specialty categories including Small Tire Pro Stock, Open Comp, 8.60 Outlaw, and 10.10 Street Warrior. Event Schedule:


Wednesday, August 5th


Stacking: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Parking: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Overnight Stacking: 8:00 pm

Thursday August 6th


Gates Open and Parking: 8:00 AM

Registration: 9:00 AM – 6:00 pm

Test & tune: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Overnight Stacking: 8:00 pm


Friday August 7th


Gates Open and Parking Continues: 8:00 AM

Time Trails & Qualifying: 9:00 AM

2-Sessions

Run Order: SST, STOCK, SC, SSK, SG, OC, SW

TD, COMP, TS, STPS, and 8.60

Secure: 7:00 pm

Saturday August 8th


Gates Open: 8:00 am

Time Trials & Qualifying: 9:00 am

1-Session

Round 1 Elimination: 2:00 pm

Secure: 8:00 pm

Sunday August 9th


Gates Open: 8:00 am

Continue Eliminations: 9:00 am

Secure: 4:00 pm


Stacking:


Stacking will start at 8:00 am on Wednesday August 5th and take place starting at the Main Gate entrance (off of E U.S. Hwy 136/Crawfordsville Road) and at Gate 8 (off of North County Road 1000 East). Overnight Stacking will take place every night starting at 8 PM. Do NOT arrive early to the facility expecting to stack prior to the posted Wednesday at 8:00 am. We appreciate your cooperations on this matter.

Tech Card Policy Reminder

Reminder to all participants, any driver making a run prior to submitting an electronic tech card and not signing the online or onsite waiver will be disqualified from the event. Disqualification applies to the driver and vehicle in which the illegal run was involved. Should a driver have a second entry in a different category at the same event, the second entry will be allowed to continue providing tech inspection and waiver signing was completed prior to making a run in the vehicle.

Tech Card Policy Reminder

If any corrections are required after submitting a tech card. Competitor will notify the race director or NHRA staff of any necessary corrections as soon as possible. NHRA will provide the competitor with a link to edit the tech card.
