NHRA Four-Wide Carolina Nationals Expands to Four Days at zMAX Dragway

The 17th annual NHRA Four-Wide Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina is set to deliver even more action in 2025, with the event expanding to a four-day format from Wednesday, September 17 through Sunday, September 21.

Wednesday – September 17

The event kicks off with early stacking and pit parking for Sportsman categories including Comp, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Top Sportsman.

• Entrance P off Moorehead Road will be used for racer access.

• Sponsor Midway and Pro Racer Hospitality parking begins at 8:00 AM via Entrance X.

• Professional Race Team Pit Parking (TAD, TAFC, PM, MMPS, TFM) also begins at 8:00 AM.

Thursday – September 18

Racer pit parking continues.

• Qualifying and time trials begin at 12:00 PM for STK, SC, Comp, SS, SG, and TS with two sessions scheduled.

• Comp Gainesville Eliminations – Round 1 starts at 5:30 PM, followed by track securement at 6:00 PM.

Friday – September 19

Friday brings a full slate of eliminations and qualifying, including:

• Top Alcohol, Mountain Motor Pro Stock, Top Fuel Motorcycle, Pro Mod, Pro Stock, and Nitro qualifying sessions.

• The day wraps up with Nitro qualifying at 7:00 PM and track securement at 7:45 PM.

Saturday & Sunday – September 20–21

Saturday continues with eliminations and additional qualifying, while Sunday features final eliminations across all categories, including:

• Nitro, Pro Stock, Pro Mod, Top Alcohol, and Sportsman finals

• Parade of Champions and Winners Circle celebrations
