Madison, IL – The NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League (JDRL) will once again take center stage in 2025 as part of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, with the return of the JDRL National Shootout program. This exciting initiative will feature seven National Shootouts, one in each NHRA geographic division, showcasing eight-car Jr. Dragster fields at select national events.
Each shootout will culminate in a final round held on Sunday, which will be broadcast nationally on FOX and FOX Sports 1, offering young racers a prestigious platform to showcase their talent to a nationwide audience.
Division 3 Shootout Set for NHRA Midwest Nationals
The North Central Division will host its National Shootout during the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals, held September 26–28, 2025, at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois.
To determine the eight participating tracks, Division 3 conducted a random drawing at the 2025 Member Track Meeting in January. Each selected track was given time to designate one representative racer for the shootout.
