About the Sportsman Racer Advisory Council (SRAC)
The Sportsman Racer Advisory Council (SRAC) was formed to provide a structured means for discussing and evaluating rules and regulations pertaining to Sportsman racing at NHRA events. The council ensures that competitors have a direct voice in shaping the future of Sportsman racing.
The SRAC is made up of Sportsman drivers, crew chiefs, and team owners and is divided into five subcommittees:
Top Alcohol
Comp
Super Stock / Stock
Super Comp / Super Gas / Super Street
Top Sportsman / Top Dragster
Each subcommittee includes one representative from every NHRA division, with a Division Director serving as the chairperson to ensure consistent communication, leadership, and representation nationwide.
