The Original JEGS SportsNationals Returns to Beech Bend Raceway Park in 2026!
One of the most prestigious events in sportsman drag racing is coming home.
The Original JEGS SportsNationals returns to historic Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky, August 28-30, 2026, creating an unforgettable week of competition as part of a North Central Division doubleheader that racers won't want to miss.
The action begins August 26-27 with the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Divisional, where competitors will have the opportunity to earn valuable divisional points, kick off the chase for the 2027 JEGS Allstars, and set the stage for one of the biggest events on the NHRA sportsman calendar. With racers earning double grade point opportunities throughout the week and both divisional and national points on the line, every round win will matter.
Adding even more significance to the occasion, winners will take home the coveted NHRA 75th Anniversary Diamond Wally trophies, a once-in-a-lifetime award commemorating this historic milestone in NHRA competition.
We will roll into the weekend as the JEGS SportsNationals delivers three days of premier sportsman racing featuring Competition Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Right Trailers Top Dragster, and Right Trailers Top Sportsman. Champions in each category will earn not only national event victories but also the distinction of forever being recognized as a JEGS SportsNationals Champion.
Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car teams will compete during the JEGS SportsNationals weekend for Regional Championship points, bringing even more horsepower and excitement to an already packed event schedule.

From Wednesday morning through Sunday afternoon, Beech Bend Raceway Park will be the epicenter of sportsman drag racing.
And for those already planning their trip to the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals the following week, there's an added bonus. Competitors advancing into the late rounds of the JEGS SportsNationals will have access to a special expedited parking program at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, allowing eligible racers to bypass the traditional parking lines and get a head start on race week preparations. Tech Card Policy Reminder
Reminder to all participants, any driver making a run prior to submitting an electronic tech card and not signing the online or onsite waiver will be disqualified from the event. Disqualification applies to the driver and vehicle in which the illegal run was involved. Should a driver have a second entry in a different category at the same event, the second entry will be allowed to continue providing tech inspection and waiver signing was completed prior to making a run in the vehicle.
Tech Card Policy Reminder
If any corrections are required after submitting a tech card. Competitor will notify the race director or NHRA staff of any necessary corrections as soon as possible. NHRA will provide the competitor with a link to edit the tech card.
