Brownsburg, IN — Due to the impending weather forecast for this weekend, the NHRA North Central Division announces the cancellation of the Fall Classic National Open and the Oakley Motorsports Super Quick Series event. After thorough evaluation of all rescheduling possibilities, it was determined that securing an alternative date is not feasible given the conflicting commitments of all parties involved.
The Law Chevrolet Super Quick Series Shootout, originally scheduled to take place during this weekend’s event, will now be contested at the first Oakley Super Quick Series event of the 2026 season. Qualified competitors will race for the prestigious Wally, and the purse will be distributed among those who earned qualification. The Oakley Motorsports Super Quick Series points standings are now officially finalized for the 2025 season.
Competitors who purchased entries online for the Fall Classic National Open will receive full refunds in the coming days.
“We understand the time, resources, and dedication that our racers, teams, and supporters invest in the Oakley Super Quick Series and all North Central Division events,” said William Tharpe, NHRA North Central Division Director. “These factors are always carefully considered when making decisions of this nature. While this is not the conclusion we envisioned for the 2025 season, it was necessary given the circumstances.”
The NHRA North Central Division extends its sincere gratitude to all racers, teams, sponsors, and fans for their unwavering support throughout the 2025 season. We wish the best of luck to those competing in upcoming events and look forward to an exciting and successful start to the 2026 season.
